Take That has ruled out the possibility of a full reunion with Robbie Williams, saying there is now “no place” for him in the pop supergroup.
The group, who reformed in November 2005, originally wanted Robbie to come back, but now they feel that their bond is so strong as a foursome they don’t need him.
Speaking about their initial decision to reform, Mark Owen said: "We asked him (Robbie), but he had other commitments - he had to walk his dog that day."
Gary Barlow continued to the Big Issue: "I think, when it comes down to it, he's just not going to be in the band again. I just don't think there's a place for him now here."
In a reverse of fortunes, Robbie’s last album ‘Rudebox’ achieved meagre sales figures compared to his earlier material, while Take That have scored a number one album and single and sold out huge nationwide jaunts.
