Leona Lewis Loses Number One To Katie Melua
Share

Katie Melua has ended Leona Lewis’s seven week reign at the top of the UK singles charts.

‘What A Wonderful World,’ Melua’s duet with the late Eva Cassidy, topped the charts with Lewis’s ‘Bleeding Love’ falling one place to number 2

Proceeds from ‘What A Wonderful World’ are to be donated to the British Red Cross.

Elsewhere, Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas’ continued to climb up the charts reaching number 4.

In the album charts, Led Zeppelin enjoyed an immediate sales surge following their reunion concert last Monday (December 10th), with their digitally re-mastered retrospective ‘Mothership’ rising to number 4.
