Paolo Nutini has revealed that he wants Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page to produce his next album.
Nutini, who supported Led Zeppelin at their concert in London on Monday (December 10th), said that Page is at the top of his “wishlist.”
“You have all these people on your wishlist, and Jimmy Page is
definitely on mine,” he told the Daily Star. “Getting someone that’s enthusiastic about your music is the main thing.”
“It’s better to have someone like that produce your record than the trendy hitmakers,” he added.
Nutini said that he has already begun to demo some songs for the follow-up to his 2006 album ‘These Streets.’
