Led Zeppelin Set For Madison Square Garden Spectacle?

Led Zeppelin have reportedly spoken privately about performing at Madison Square Garden in 2008.

The band are understood to have discussed the idea of playing the New York venue after their ‘one-off’ reunion at the O2 Arena in London on Monday (December 10th).

“One of the guys started talking about their three concerts at the Garden,” a ‘source’ told the Sun.

“There was a consensus of, ‘Why not?’ It is one of the best live music venues in the world. I have no doubt after their reaction backstage that they will be there next year playing to a sell-out crowd.”

The band played an acclaimed three night residency at the venue in 1973, footage of which features on the band’s DVD, ‘The Song Remains The Same.’

The reports follow industry speculation yesterday that the band have already put two nights on hold at Wembley Stadium next year.
