Status Quo Plot June 2008 Forest Tour

They'll be 'rocking all over the woods', says Rossi...

Status Quo are set to take to the trees next summer when they headline part of the Forestry Commission’s annual forest tour.

The aging rockers will play four dates in forests at different spots in England throughout June next year.

Ever corny, guitarist Francis Rossi said of the shows: "We are really looking forward to playing in the forest. Fans can rest assured they'll be rocking all over the woods!"

As well as playing all their old classics, the rock mainstays will be touring material from their latest album ‘In Search of the Fourth Chord’, which hit the shelves earlier this autumn.

Tickets cost £30 plus all the usual booking fees. They play the following dates:

High Lodge, Thetford Forest, near Brandon, Suffolk – June 7
The National Arboretum, Westonbirt, Gloucestershire - 22
Cannock Chase Forest, near Rugeley, Staffs - 27
Dalby Forest, near Pickering, North Yorkshire – June 28
