Former Radio 1 DJ Andy Kershaw has been told that he could be jailed after he pleaded guilty to breaking a restraining order.
Kershaw admitted breaking the order – which prevented him from seeing his former partner, Juliette Banner – during a hearing at the High Bailiff's court on the Isle of Man earlier today (December 11th).
The court learned that Kershaw, whose show on BBC Radio 3 has been suspended, had sent “abusing” text messages which were aimed at his former partner and her new boyfriend to his two children, reports the BBC.
Kershaw also admitted to being drunk and disorderly outside a local Police station on November 7th
High Bailiff Michael Moyle told Kershaw that “prison is a real possibility.”
He added: "If you wish not to have any further dealings with your children, carry on in the way you're doing."
Kershaw was given a suspended three month jail sentence earlier this year after he admitted to harassing Banner.
