Outkast's Big Boi To Release Solo Album

Outkast’s Big Boi is to release a solo album next year but has assured fans that he and Andre 3000 won’t be going their separate ways.

‘Sir Luscious Left Foot’ is yet to be finished but is set to be released at the beginning of 2008.

The first single to be taken from the record is to be released at midnight on New Year’s Eve according to Big Boi.

Speaking about the record he told Vibe magazine: "I want all the stuff to be '08, everything to be brand new. I'm going to put 12 songs on ('Sir Luscious Left Foot'), I'm finished with like nine right now. Production is by Organized Noize."

An Outkast album is set to follow the record although no timescale has yet been set for the release.
