It was arguably the musical event of the millennium and Gigwise was there.
Finally after nearly three decades (underwhelming one-off appearances aside), last night rock titans Led Zeppelin got back together for a one-off show at the O2 Arena in memory of the late Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun.
Despite ticket allocations being unfeasibly tight, Gigwise managed to squeeze a writer in there. CLICK HERE to read our full review.
As reported last night, the rockers treated fans to a 16 track set that was rammed full of classic Led Zep tracks, including ‘Good Times, Bad Times’, ‘Stairway To Heaven’, ‘Dazed and Confused’, ‘Kashmir’ and the ultimate ‘Rock and Roll.’
With blanket positive reviews of the show - Jimmy Page being as dextrous a guitar player as ever, Robert Plant reaching the high notes and John-Paul Jones and Jason Bonham exceptional throughout – there is now even more pressure on the band to reform for a world tour.
