The Strokes’ Albert Hammond Jr. has said that the band have “no idea” about the plans for their forth album.
The band’s guitarist, who is currently concluding work on his second solo album, said that no plans have been confirmed as to when the band will enter the studio to work on a new LP.
“We definitely talk about things,” Hammond Jr. told Pitchfork. “I just have learned that, unless there's something in concrete that we've all decided, then I can't really say anything.
“It wouldn't be my place; it would be our place as a group. So, I've gotta leave that as ‘everything's great.’ I just have no idea when we're going to do anything.”
Meanwhile, Hammond Jr. said that he hopes his as-yet-untitled second album will be released in early spring next year.
