Mark Ronson has said that he will not work with Lily Allen on her next album because the singer has been ignoring his phone calls.
Ronson made a number of contributions to Allen’s critically acclaimed debut album Alright Still’ which was released last year.
"Lily has been working on her new album, but I'm probably not going to be on it as she hasn't been returning my calls," Ronson said.
"Most of the people I work with, I'm lucky enough to be friends with too. But then you never really know what's going to happen after."
Rumous of a rift initially emerged after Allen failed to appear alongside Ronson earlier this year during his headlining slot for the Electric Proms at Camden’s Roundhouse.
Reports at the time claimed that the singer was instead spotted out with friends in West London, although Ronson says she explained why she couldn’t make it.
"She didn't come but she had another commitment and she explained why and it's fine," Ronson told the Sun. "I'm not going to lie and say I wasn't disappointed but it's not like she just didn't show up or something."
