Led Zeppelin have guaranteed that fans at the O2 Arena in London will witness a massive two hour spectacle next Monday (December 10th).
In an Interview with Q, guitarist Jimmy Page revealed that the band were originally asked to play for just 40 minutes but soon realised that it wasn’t feasible.
"When we were first asked to do this [reunion show], we were asked to play a 40-minute set. We soon realised we couldn't," Page explained.
"If we go out and play 'No Quarter', 'Moby Dick' and 'Dazed And Confused' with all the solos, you're already talking over an hour.
"We've gone from 75 minutes to 90, to the best part of two hours," he added.
Page also said that he didn’t think he would be able to play for longer than two hours now
"There's no way I can take on playing three-and-a-half-hour sets now. Flying against the wind and the storms, because I just don't have that energy anymore,” he said.
“But I've still got enough in me to get through a two-hour set."
Led Zeppelin’s one-off reunion show at the O2 Arena next week attracted over 1 million applicants for just 20,000 tickets earlier this year.
