Geri Halliwell has apologised for leaving the Spice Girls nine years after she played her final concert with the band.
‘Ginger’ Spices’ remarks came as the band launched their reunion world tour in Vancouver, Canada on Sunday (December 2nd).
"I would like to say a big sorry to all the fans, especially those in America. I walked out on you as well as the girls,” Halliwell told the Mirror.
“You never got to see us as a five-piece, this is my opportunity to make it up to everyone. Thanks for the second chance".
The Spice Girls world tour is set to take in eight cities around the world including, London, where they’ll play seventeen nights at the O2 Arena.
Ticket for the group’s UK shows sold out in 38 seconds when they went on sale earlier this year.
