Radiohead Announce Huge Outdoor UK Tour Dates

Radiohead have announced details of five huge outdoor shows across the UK and Ireland in summer 2008.

The performances will begin with a show at Malahide Castle in Dublin on June 7th, ahead of two dates in London’s Victoria Park on June 24th and 25th.

From their the band will travel to play a show at Glasgow Green on June 27th, before closing the short tour at Lancashire County Cricket Ground in Manchester on June 29th.

Tickets for the band’s outdoor shows go on sale on Friday (December 7th) at 10am, priced £42.50.

I’m going, but £42.50 is ****ing steep for tickets. I hope some of that is going to offset their carbon footprint or something. In fact, I want a ****ing forest planted...

£42.50 is not bad for outdoor shows of this type, particularly considering most people paid diddly squat for the album. Do people want to pay nothing for gigs either? They have to recoup somewhere.....
