Tom Petty To Play Superbowl Halftime Slot

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have been confirmed to play the lucrative half time slot at next year’s Superbowl.

The veterans follow in the footsteps of the likes of Prince, U2, Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, The Rolling Stones and Sir Paul McCartney who have all been performed the prestigious slot in recent years.

Last year 140million Americans and many, many millions more watched Prince’s performance at the Superbowl.

Next year’s sporting season highlight takes place on February 3 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, near Phoenix.
