Leona Lewis’ dominance in the charts is continuing this week as she remains atop both the album and singles chart.
The former X Factor winners’ single ‘Bleeding Love’ has notched up a sixth week at number one, while the album ‘Spirit’ – the fastest selling UK debut of all time – is the top seller for the third week.
In the album chart she fought off competition from 2005 X Factor winner Shayne Ward who came in at two with ‘Breathless.’ Westlife are at three and Kylie Minogue had the disappointing entry at four with ‘X’.
Pop music maintained a strong hold in the singles chart with T2, Girls Aloud, Take That, Shayne Ward, Mark Ronson and Westlife all featuring in the top ten.
The sole new entry in the singles chart came courtesy of the late Elvis Presley at number 12 with ‘American Trilogy.’
