The Spice Girls kicked off their reunion world tour in Canada last night (December 2nd) in front of a sold-out crowd.
The group’s performance at the General Motors Place in Vancouver was the first time that all five members had performed on stage together in nine years.
The girl-groups performance came amid speculation that tensions between the band members had escalated during rehearsals.
15,000 people watched last nights two hour long performance which included nine of the group’s number one UK singles and eight costume changes.
One of the highlights of the gig was an unexpected appearance from David Beckham – who had flown in from New Zealand especially to be at the performance.
From Vancouver, the Spice Girls’ tour will take in a further eight cities, including a 17-night residency at the O2 Arena in London.
