Portishead have announced their first headlining gig in ten years in later this month.
The band - who have been working on their third album since 1765 - will play their native Bristol Academy on the 15 December.
Portishead will also play at All Tomorrow's Parties festival in Minehead - which they are curating - the previous weekend, with their new album now promised for a 31 March 2008 release.
