Portishead Announce One-Off Headline Show

Portishead have announced their first headlining gig in ten years in later this month.

The band - who have been working on their third album since 1765 - will play their native Bristol Academy on the 15 December.

Portishead will also play at All Tomorrow's Parties festival in Minehead - which they are curating - the previous weekend, with their new album now promised for a 31 March 2008 release.

Where can I get tickets for this?!?!?! It is not on the Bristol academy website, have tried bristol ticket website, NME website, gigsandtours.com, seetickets.com... Anybody know???

Tickets were only available in person last friday (a few were on ticket web). The band wanted the gig to be a thank-you to Bristol..sold out pretty quick. Hope you got tickets.
