Interpol Bring Majestic End To London Palace Shows

Interpol brought their two night residency at the Alexandra Palace in London to a majestic close tonight (November 30th) with a hit laden set.

Drawing from their three albums, the band, who were all dressed in black – except for drummer Sam Fogarino - blended into the Victorian surrounding with ease.

Opening with ‘Pioneer To The Falls’ the band’s set also included a rare outing for ‘The Lighthouse,’ which closes their most recent album, ‘Our Love To Admire.’

Looking comfortable in the expansive surroundings the most rapturous crowd responses were reserved for crowd favourites ‘Slow Hands’ and ‘The Heinrich Maneuver.’

The band closed their powerful showing with another firm crowd favourite, ‘PDA,’ which features on their debut album, ‘Turn On The Bright Lights.’

Earlier in the evening, Fogarino and lead singer Paul Banks also joined support act Blonde Redhead on stage.
