The Sex Pistols have been confirmed as the second headliner for next year’s Isle of Wight festival.
The punk veterans play the Saturday night (June 15) and join The Police on the bill, who close the music extravaganza on the Sunday night.
Despite the pulling power of these two bands, it’s a tad worrying that the festival, so far at least, seems to be relying heavily on older acts rather than promoting fresh talent.
Here’s hoping that Friday night will bring in some slightly less weathered musicians to the forefront.
The Isle of Wight Festival takes place from June 13-15 at Seaclose Park.
