Quiet Riot frontman Kevin Dubrow had been dead for six days before his body was discovered, according to Police reports.
As previously reported, DuBrow’s body was discovered in his home in Las Vegas last Sunday (November 25th). He was 52.
Meanwhile, former Quiet Riot bassist Kelly Garni, has revealed that a Police officer told him that they had “found no signs of foul play and are ruling this an accidental death."
Quiet Riot band became the first metal band to score a number one album on the Billboard Top-200 chart with, ‘Metal Health,’ released in 1983.
Garni has spoken in detail about the concerns that he, and a number of people close to the star had expressed in the days up to the discovery of DuBrow’s body.
After being called to DuBrow’s home on Sunday by the singer’s security team, Garni said that he phoned Quiet Riot drummer Frankie Banali who told him that he had not spoken to DuBrow for ten days.
Garni then phoned DuBrow’s girlfriend who revealed that he had missed a scheduled Thanksgiving dinner with her and had not replied to a number of house calls and answer phone messages she had left.
DuBrow’s body was eventually found in bed after a paramedic broke into the house under the instruction of Lark Williams, another of DuBrow's girlfriends.
DuBrow’s funeral is scheduled for Sunday (December 2nd) pending the outcome of a coroners enquiry.
