Akon Charged After Throwing Fan From Stage

Akon has been charged by police after a fan alleged that she suffered concussion after being hit by a teenager who the singer threw off the stage during a concert.

As reported back in June, the rapper was apparently hit by a missile thrown from within the crowd at the Dutchess Stadium in New York. He then called on security to pull the alleged culprit from the crowd. 

Once he had the culprit in his hands, he threw the 15-year-old boy from the stage directly into the crowd.  Abby Rosa claims that she was hit by the boy, and has now hired a legal team to seek damages from the rapper.

Akon’s representatives have denied that there is a basis for criminal charges.

It’s not the first time the controversial rapper has landed in hot water. In April he gyrated in a sexual manner with an underage girl while performing a show in Trinidad. He later claimed that he did not know she was underage.
