‘Suzanne’ is the latest single from Love Ends Disaster! and it’s pure joyous power pop that runs at you full tilt and slams into you with a great chorus full of hooks. The song is driven by a steady beat and gut tight vocals that deliver tension and fit the sound better than skinny jeans on a Hoxton poser.
‘Dinosaur’ is a song that drips in the influence of the early Elton John/Bernie Taupin influence in it, although there will be many Bruce Springsteen lovers who will also be trying to lay claim to this as there is definitely a touch of ‘The Boss’ in the vocal delivery. Whilst ‘Dinosaur’ is an infections tune it’s ‘Suzanne’ that is the better of the two because it is such a great song and unlike most pop tunes it doesn’t leave you feeling like you’ve just been raped by sugar.
