More Biffy Clyro Biffy Clyro are considering covering Craig David for a future track.
The Scottish rockers, who regularly cover Rhianna’s number one ‘Umbrella’ during their live sets, say that they enjoy taking songs they hate and transforming them into a totally different beast.
Bassist James Johnston said: "If the situation arises that we do another cover, then we'll come up with something equally exciting. The best way is to pick the least obvious song. So not AC/DC or Guns N Roses or anything rock.
“Maybe Craig David. That way we can start to like a song that we used to hate and do something a bit different."
Meanwhile, Biffy Clyro release their brand spanking new single ‘Who’s Got A Match’ on February 4, a song which sees them change direction somewhat.
Johnston continued to xfm: "It's pure pop perfection, we really wanted a song that was really bouncy and in its essence a real pop song. It's simplicity is what makes it a great song, everyone can sing along to it."
"I think that's what makes us interesting as a band, the ability to explore different types of music. It's miles away from our last single ('Machines') and hopefully people will enjoy it for exactly that reason."
