Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have been unveiled as the hosts for the 2008 BRIT Awards in London.
Ged Doherty, Chairman of the BRIT’s committee, said that the couple’s appointment would bring "Rock & Roll, glamour, humour and a touch of the unexpected” to the ceremony.
Over 11,000 music fans are expected to pack Earls Court on February 20th when the BPI will recognise both British and International music talent.
Sharon Osbourne said that the awards ceremony was “by far the most prestigious and meaningful" that the couple had been asked to present.
She added: “Ozzy and I are proud to be Brits and are both incredibly honoured to have been asked to help celebrate the best in music.’’
The BRIT nominations will be unveiled at London’s Roundhouse on January 14th.
This year’s ceremony will for the second consecutive year be broadcast live on ITV1.
