The Enemy covered the David Bowie classic ‘Five Years’ during their show for Mencap’s Little Noise Sessions in North London last night.
The Coventry band performed an acoustic set for the unique event at the Union Chapel in Islington and were backed by four string players.
Five songs into the set they aptly rolled out ‘Five Years’, the opening track from David Bowie’s album classic ‘Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars.’ A cover of T-Rex’s ‘Cosmic Girl’ was the penultimate song of the set.
Tom Clarke and co. opened their set with ‘We’ll Live and Die In These Towns’, before playing the likes of ‘It’s Not Ok’, ‘Away From Here’ and ‘You’re Not Alone’ during the brief 45 minute set.
The night also featured performances from Noah and the Whale and The Wombats. Check out Gigwise later for a full review.
