US Rapper T.I. has been accused of breaking previous gun laws in a document filed by a Federal prosecutor yesterday (November 26th).
The prosecutor said that the rapper – who is due to stand trial on weapons charges – had previously broken the law by possessing firearms while convicted as a felon.
T.I., real name Clifford Harris, is currently under house arrest after he was arrested in October and charged with possession of unregistered weapons and silencers.
In the document filed yesterday, it’s understood that Harris is accused of unlawfully possessing firearms on three occasions "all after having been convicted of a felony offence," reports AP.
It has also emerged that Harris was sent to jail when he was 17 for violating a seven year probation handed to him for drug offences.
