Gallows frontman Frank Carter has admitted that the stresses and strains of touring have caused him to almost break down on occasion.
The teetotal singer renowned for his raucous stage antics, says that the pressure before a gig can sometimes get too much.
He told BBC6music: "A few times it's happened. I almost broke down before a gig. I was like I don't wanna play, I don't wanna go on, I don't wanna talk to anybody, I hate everybody.
“This isn't me throwing a diva fit, I nearly broke both my hands, walking up a stair well, crying my eyes out on the phone to my mum, just punching anything that was near me."
