Leona Lewis has maintained her grip at the top of the album and singles chart these week, topping both of the charts again.
The X Factor winner notched up a fifth consecutive week at the top spot in the singles chart with ‘Bleeding Love’, while her album ‘Spirit’, the fastest selling British debut of all time, stayed at one for a second week.
In a strong week for pop music, Westlife’s ‘Back Home’ and Katherine Jenkins’ ‘Rejoice’ are at two and three respectively in the album chart. Girls Aloud’s ‘Tangled Up’ entered at four ahead of Led Zeppelin’s ‘Mother Ship’ which slipped to five.
Over in the singles chart, T2 ft Jodie Aysha entered at two with ‘Heartbreaker’, Take That came in at three with ‘Rule The World’, while Timbaland is at four.
Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson’s cover of The Zutons’ ‘Valerie’ stayed in the top five in its incredible 19th week in the chart.
