More Kanye West - Watch Kanye West - 'Champion'
More Kanye West Kanye West has received widespread plaudits from his fans, following his show at the O2 Arena last night.
Although Jay-Z didn’t turn up, as was widely reported, Gigwise has received a series of messages from fans praising his London gig performed just two days after his mother Donda was buried.
As with last week’s show in Paris, Kanye broke down in tears again onstage shortly after performing the track ‘Hey Mama’ which he dedicated to Donda. Fans gave Kanye a three minute ovation after the track, during which Kanye wiped tears from his eyes.
Jessica in Welling wrote to us: “I respect him so much for being brave enough to dedicate a song to his mum and he was strong enough to stay on the stage and perform the whole night! An emotional song i think every1 had a tear in their eye. Rest in peace donda.”
While Daniel in London perhaps sums the night up perfectly in two words: “Simply amazing.”
- Was fantastic, WELL DOEN KANYE! RIP DONDA!

- Just amazing, amazing! Rest in peace Donda!

- It was completely breathtaking! Kanye smashed it! and his mother would have been SO proud lastnight.
