Bob Dylan has recorded a new version of ‘A Hard Rain’s A Gonna Fall’ especially for the Expo Zaragoza 2008 world fair.
He has also chosen multi-platinum selling band Amaral to record a version of the track in Spanish for the June 14-September 14 2008 event.
Both versions will form part of the promo campaign for the expo although it is not known yet if either Dylan or Amaral will perform there.
Dylan representative Johnna Jackson said of the project: "Bob Dylan chose the song personally and did a unique and original version for this project. He feels very proud to be able to take part."
They added that Amaral, who supported Dylan on his Spanish tour several years ago, are currently recording their version of the track.
