INXS have paid their respects to their late former frontman Michael Hutchence on the tenth anniversary of his death by launching a tribute page on their website.
The section features written messages from band members Jon Farriss, Andrew Farriss and Garry Beers, as well as classic photos of Hutchence and video tributes from Kirk Pengilly and Tim Farriss.
Jon Farriss writes: “I miss Michael every day, but I'm one of the lucky ones who shared time with a beautiful soul who was on this earth far too short a time.”
Brother Andrew commented: “To his fans he will always be a legend....but he was also an open minded, stylish and compassionate man who took his friendships seriously.
“I miss him very much. I miss his sense of humour, his intelligence and cheeky smile.”
Hutchence was found dead in his hotel room in Sydney on November 22, 1997. He was found to have died from asphyxiation caused by hanging.

- ”Michael hutchence, he’s one of ’em too.
Made a hundred million quid dying wanking on the loo”

- It feels like just yesterday I heard the devastating news ... what a powerful voice, an incredible talent, a brilliant poet, amazing performer ... but yet was still ”Just A Man”
He will be missed for eternity but his legend lives on!
Love and Peace.

- Quite simply...”The Greatest Frontman of All Time.
