Kanye West has vowed to complete his European tour in honour of his later mother, Donda.
West paid an emotional tribute to his mother, who died in a Los Angeles medical facility last Saturday (November 10th), during a performance in Brussels on Sunday (November 18th).
After breaking down at a gig in Paris on the previous night (November 17th) whilst performing his song, ‘Hey Mama,’ West told the audience in Belgium that his mother was his number one fan.
"There's nothing that she loved more than to come to the show and scream louder than any fan. She was my first fan that was screaming before anyone else,” he said. "If she was here, she would tell me, 'Get on that stage and kill it, dawg!' That was her favourite word: 'dawg.'"
West is due to kick off the UK leg of his tour in London tomorrow (November 22nd), after returning from his Mother’s funeral in America.
"She [Donda] would tell me, 'Take over the world and be Number 1 like I taught you to be,'" he told the crowd in Brussels.
