Motorhead frontman Lemmy is facing the prospect of a fine for smoking during the band’s recent performance in Sheffield.
Lemmy, real name Ian Fraser Kilmister, reportedly lit up during the band’s show at the Hallam FM arena on November 6th.
A spokesperson for the Police said that other venues on the bands tour had been notified and that “appropriate action may be taken should any further incidents take place."
The Smoking ban came into force in England on July 1st and has so far seen a number of rock stars prosecuted for flaunting the ban.
Most recently, Sex Pistols’ John Lydon smoked on stage during one of the band’s shows at the Brixton Academy in London.
