French fashion house Louis Vuitton has won a lawsuit against Britney Spears’ video, ‘Do Something.’
The company said that the video violated counterfeiting laws because it showed a pink Vuitton-upholstered dashboard.
A Paris Civil Court yesterday (November 19th) fined MTV online and Sony BMG $117,000 and asked that they cease broadcasting the video.
In the video, Spears can be seen at the wheel of a Hummer which features a dashboard apparently decorated with the Vuitton design.
Spears was not found guilty in the case, although a spokeswoman said that the video was an “attack” on the brand’s image, reports AP.
