It's good to have Jim Noir back. 'All Right' is a step on from the material on his critically-acclaimed but little-purchased début – a summery, vocoder-heavy track that lollops along joining the dots between the harmonies of the Beach Boys, the carefree electronic-flecked weirdness of Super Furry Animals and the oddball brilliance of Salako.

B-side 'Don't Turn The Music Down' resembles a half-finished sketch of a house tune and features a melodica solo, while 'Standing On A Corner' is a harmony-laden fuzz assault which sounds like it was recorded in a hive of angry bees. Noir is a true British eccentric, and we should all feel the richer for his return.

Released 19/11/07 on My Dad Recordings.
