Amy Winehouse’s mother has voiced her concern over the singer’s current UK tour.
Winehouse was criticised by the media and fans after she abused the crowd as her tour got underway in Birmingham last Wednesday (November 14th), although her performances have since improved, according to reports.
Winehouse’s mother, Janis, has still expressed her worry over the £1 million tour, however.
"My heart goes out to her. She is under immense stress over Blake's imprisonment. I wouldn't hesitate to tell her to pull out if I feared she was in danger. I don't want Amy destroying herself,” she told the Mirror.
"But I think she will get by and come through what is a terribly lonely time for her right now."
Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is currently being held in custody on a charge of perverting the course of justice.
He and five other men are set to appear in court later this month.
