Kiss frontman Gene Simmons is the latest figure in the music industry to hit out at Radiohead’s revolutionary way of releasing ‘In Rainbows.’
The singer, who has made an almost unparalleled fortune through sales of Kiss memorabilia, believes that Radiohead’s business model is fundamentally flawed.
He told Rolling Stone: “That’s not a business model that works. I open a store and say ‘Come on in and pay whatever you want.’ Are you on ****ing crack? Do you really believe that’s a business model that works?”
Simmons follows in the footsteps of Lily Allen (who labelled Radiohead “arrogant”) and Oasis’ Liam Gallagher who have both hit out at Radiohead in recent weeks.
