Stevie Wonder Teams Up With Prince And Tony Bennett

Prince and Tony Bennett stunned crowds by joining Stevie Wonder on stage in New York last Friday (November 17th).

Wonder, who was playing his first headlining performance in the city since 1996, reprised elements of previous studio collaborations with the performers.

Bennett joined wonder on their duet of, ‘For Once In My Life,’ which had previously only appeared on Bennett’s 2006 duets album.

Meanwhile, Prince joined Wonder for an emphatic rendition of ‘Superstition,’ which saw him play on guitar while Wonder played the keyboard, reports Billboard.

During an action packed gig at Madison Square Garden which featured Wonder’s daughter on backing vocals, Wonder also held a moments silence for the victims of September 11th.

    • You failed to mention one of the highlights of the show: the crazy, high-energy harmonica dual between Stevie Wonder and Frederic Yonnet on ”Boogie on Reggae Woman.” Wonder is the master but Yonnet is clearly the heir apparent. Awesome!

    • Why a picture of prince and not STEVIE? It was STEVIE’S show and STEVIE allowed prince to share the stage with him. There should be a picture of STEVIE not prince on this article.
