More The Sex Pistols Smoking ban flouting singer John Lydon has revealed that The Sex Pistols never actually made any money until their reunion Filthy Lucre tour of 1996.
Despite number one singles and a hit album, the wrinkly rocker says the seminal outfit never saw a penny for two decades.
He said: "I love the money. But do you know how broke the Pistols were? Until that '96 reunion tour we never got a pay-off at all. We never saw a penny."
In tenuously related news, a pair of Sex Pistols tickets for their Glasgow show on Sunday have reportedly sold for 1pence a piece on eBay. KERCHING!
