Jeffree Star Plays His Debut UK Show

Self-confessed mega cunt, ‘Queen of the Internet’ and boyfriend thief (charming, we know), Jeffree Star, played his first ever shows on these shores at the Manchester Academy last night (November 13).

Sporting his trademark luminous pink hair, gaudy make-up and stilettos, the genre-bending 21-year-old Californian rattled through such electro-pop tracks as ‘Ice Cream’ and ‘Eyelash Curlers Butcher’s Knives’ at the completely sold-out show. It’s one of seven dates in the UK.

Star has become an internet phenomenon over the past year and a half, with nearly 30million people visiting his Myspace page and listening to his low-key EP release ‘Plastic Surgery Slumber Party’, despite limited coverage in the press

Friends include AFI’s Davey Havok and someone by the name of Paris Hilton. Nope, us neither.
