Amy Winehouse is expected to begin her UK tour in Birmingham tonight (November 14th) despite her husband’s recent problems.
The singer’s performance at the NIA will be her first since her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was charged with perverting the course of justice last Saturday (November 10th).
Although Winehouse is scheduled to embark on the full 13-date tour, bookmakers are already taking odds that she won’t complete the jaunt.
William Hill are currently offering odds of 1/3 that she won’t appear in Birmingham tonight, while the odds on her singing are 9/4.
Rupert Adams, a spokesman for William Hill, said: “Amy cost us dear when she failed to turn up to a gig in Liverpool earlier this year and we are taking no chances. The odds are she won't make it to the building."
Tickets for all the shows on the tour have already sold out.
