There was more woe for Amy Winehouse yesterday as the singer was refused entry to see her husband Blake Fielder-Civil in prison.
The ‘Rehab’ singer turned up at North London’s Pentonville Prison only to be turned away as Fielder-Civil’s mum Georgette had reportedly taken up the only permitted visit of the day.
Fielder-Civil is of course in police custody until at least November 23 for allegedly perverting the course of justice in his GBH trial that was scheduled for this week.
Pictures in today’s newspapers show Ms Winehouse turning up at court looking slightly worse for wear, and according to The Sun her cracked lips show the symptoms of crack cocaine abuse.
Reports in today’s press say that Winehouse’s and Fielder-Civil’s families are now at loggerheads, respectively blaming each other for the married couple’s downfall.
The saga continues.
