Boy George has been charged with falsely imprisoning a 28-year old man.
The offence is understood to have happened at Boy George’s, real name George O’Dowd, home in Hackney on April 28th this year.
A spokesperson for the Police confirmed that "Mr O'Dowd was charged on Monday."
The DJ and singer is currently on bail and due to appear at Thames Magistrates Court on November 22nd, reports the BBC.
Last year, O’Dowd had to carry out community service in America after he was found to have wasted Police time.
