US rapper Jay-Z held a moments silence in memory of Kanye West’s late mother yesterday (November 11th).
As previously reported, Donda West died on Saturday (November 10th) in a Los Angeles Hospital after complications arouse during cosmetic surgery, according to the BBC.
Her publicist, Patricia Green, failed to give any more details about the type of surgery that West’s Mum was undergoing.
According to People, Jay-Z told the audience at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York last night: "Let's get serious for a minute. This show is dedicated to Kanye West who had a death in the family. We got you, Kanye, stay strong."
West had apparently just landed in London when he was told about his mother’s passing. He immediately flew to Los Angeles.
