Weezer are to release their next album on April 22 next year it has been revealed.
The news was announced via albumsix.com which seems to have been set up by the band to promote the record and Rivers Coumo’s solo offering.
The website first emerged nearly six months ago but had been thought to be a hoax by many fans of the band.
Last month the band said they were recording their latest effort "in a large room that normally doesn't serve as a place where bands record their albums".
Rivers Coumo releases his ‘Home Recordings’ album on December 11 in the US.
