A host of indie’s leading lights are set to appear on a new compilation that with help aid agencies currently working in the Darfur region of the Sudan.
The first ‘Causes’ album will feature tracks from Bloc Party, The Shins, The Cure, Death Cab For Cutie and Bright Eyes.
The majority of the tracks are all exclusive to the Waxploitation release and also includes Tracis covering John Lennon’s ‘Gimme Some Truth’.
Three non-profit organisations will benefit from the release – Human Rights Watch, Oxfam America and Doctors Without Borders.
The album is released on November 27 in the US.
