Radiohead will officially release their new album ‘In Rainbows’ in the UK on December 31st.
As previously reported, the album – which is available for fans to download online at a price of their choosing – will be distributed through XL Recordings.
‘In Rainbows will be available on both vinyl and CD.
The band have also announced that ‘Jigsaw Falling Into Place’ will be the first single taken from the album.
Released on January 14th, the song is already the most played track from the LP on both US and UK radio.
Meanwhile, in a press release, the band have also hit out at sales figures for ‘In Rainbows’ listed by the company comScore Inc.
The band said that the comScore's sales figures - which suggested that two thirds of people paid nothing for the album - were “wholly inaccurate and in no way reflect definitive market intelligence or, indeed, the true success of the project.”
