The Who’s frontman Roger Daltrey has said that he has no plans to watch a new documentary film about the band.
‘Amazing Journey: The Story Of The Who’ – which is released on DVD November 26th - features interviews and live footage of the band from every decade of their 40 year history.
Despite attending a Q&A session about the documentary, Daltrey says he won’t watch the film “because I'll only watch myself and I won't see the film in its entirety; I'll be just watching me.
"Like when people first see their home movies, they don't ever see the big picture. But I find it too uncomfortable. And I lived it, I remember it all, I don't need to see it," Daltrey told Spinner.
Along with the new live footage of the band, ‘Amazing Journey,’ also includes new interviews with Daltrey and Townshend, as well as U2’s the Edge and Sting.
