The Casuals latest release ‘Confusion’ provides a deluge of rough edged torrential guitars, soaked with self-belief and an inherently natural sound that screams “**** off and listen to me.” Washed down with a whisky soaked vocal chaser that belies Thomas Suter’s age and androgynous frame, it’s textbook teenage indie-rock through and through and their imposing style of attack favours forceful twisted chords that hint at a Scottish insurgency waiting to happen.
Released 05/11/07 on No Carbon Records.
