    The Beach Boys To Be Honoured With Landmark

    The Beach BoysThe Legendary Beach Boys are to be honoured with a land mark in their home town in California.

    The landmark and plaque will be built near the site of the Wilson family home in Hawthorne, California, the house was demolished in the 1980’s to make way for a motorway, reports Yahoo.

    The landmark will be built by Dennis Wilson’s son Scott’s construction company with donations from fans.

    The dedication ceremony for the landmark will take place on May 20 with the band’s original promoter, Fred Vail hosting the event that will be attended by members of the Wilson’s extended family.

    It is not yet known whether or not the surviving Beach Boys Brian Wilson, Mike Love and Al Jardine will attend the ceremony.
